Melanie Wert came to us from the great state of Ohio! She first visited Grace Point Church in 2010 while visiting family. She ultimately moved to Valley Center in 2012 and quickly became involved in our church family. From Bible studies, to worship, to working with the children, she became an integral part of our church.
In 2014 a part-time administrative position became available and Melanie was a perfect fit. Since then, her role has expanded to full-time assistant to Pastor Gunnar and the leadership team. Melanie has earned her B.A. in Biblical Studies at Southern California Seminary in May 2020. In March of 2022, Melanie married her best friend Tim!
Melanie really is a “Jane of all trades” person at Grace Point Church as she continues to serve in a variety of ministries at the church. She is affectionately referred to as "the duct tape of Grace Point Church" by Pastor Gunnar. If there is something you need, Melanie can help you or point you in the right direction!
